It is no good for you to overwork yourself either. If you fall ill then your research will have to stop until you are well again. This .. scientific breakthrough can wait. Your health cannot.

I know, I won’t work myself to exhaustion though. Besides lately I could hardly call ordering around agents ‘work’. The hardest part is keeping them in line so they don’t do anything that will interfere with the technical things that I’m doing.

You are always talking about work, I cannot help but think you are overworking yourself. You are still the brains operating behind the research. Doing the heavy lifting seems much easier compared to your function.

I didn’t realize I talked about work that much. I guess I can’t help it, I really love what I’m doing and now with more funding I can go further than I have been able to in a while. I’m sure the agents would disagree with you on that.

*chuckles, smiles fondly* It is, as you say, what you love. I do not begrudge you the love you have for your science. I merely worry about your health when such love takes over most of your day. Then they are weaklings !

I know you don’t but I often don’t realize how I go on. I’ve been told I need to get a hobby. Well they certainly aren’t you, and I have to admit I’m not always nice, especially when they drop things.

It is a trait I find appealing in you, Jane. Your passion and dedication to that which you love so much, to your science, it is very .. admirable. A hobby ? Such as what ? They should be punished for dropping those things, it is valuable to your research.

Thank you, it’s very sweet of you to say. I’m not really sure what sort of hobby, maybe something I can do with Darcy? We’ve been getting closer with her lately. She finds my ordering around the agents very amusing, she even got me a gift. I’m not really allowed to punish them, and honestly if I could I wouldn’t know what punishment to give to a guy for dropping a heavy piece of equipment.

What sort of past times do mortals indulge themselves in ? I would suggest sparring but it seems something you would not be fond of. It seems efficient. Is it amusing to you as well ? Oh, what sort of gift did you receive ? If they damage your equipment then they should be punished. You can order them around so is it truly impossible to punish them somehow ?

Oh humans do all sorts of things to occupy of free time, the lists are endless. Actually taking some sort of self defense class might actually be fun. I’ve never tried anything like that, though I’m sure the agents wouldn’t want Darcy knowing a new way to beat on them. I found it amusing at first, mostly because they had gotten so annoying, now I don’t really care either way as long as my work gets done. I’m not really sure how far I can go with my order giving, I think Agent Coulson would rather me not punish them. I think that’s his job. I…don’t think I want to say what she gave me…

*going over blue prints for her latest project*

It seems to be a quiet evening in Asgard as well. Greetings, Jane ..

Hello Thor, it’s…been a bit since we last talked.

Aye, it has…

Thank you, I’m sure in time I can work through it. I’ve never been hit my a car before but I can imagine it’s more than just ‘uncomfortable’.

I understand .. Take all the time you need. And I will do my best to prevent you ever feeling such discomfort and pain. How goes your research ?

Oh it’s been an interesting lately. Agent Coulson is allowing me to use the agents to help me do the heavy lifting so I’ve gotten a lot done in the last week or so. Plus it’s nice to have less agents watching me like a babysitter.

That is good news then. That you are getting help, you should not be lifting anything in the first place. You could hurt yourself.

Well I’m a lot more durable than you might think but the help does make things go faster. As big as this will be it would have taken Darcy and I weeks to get this far.

*chuckles* Of that, I am sure, Jane. But it would not be wise to try to lift that which is much heavier than you. Then it is very good that you are now getting help. Do not forget to take breaks.

I try, but I get worked up and forget to stop (except maybe to eat). I’m so close to a major scientific break through, it’s exciting.

OOC: Sorry I haven’t been on as much lately. I started summer school today, so I’ll be a little busy at nights. But I’ll still get on as much as possible.

Love y’all <3

Good luck in school.

Aye, it has been. Are you still angry with me ?

No…and Yes. It really depends on the day. I am past the desire to hit you with my car so at least I’m not AS mad.

Today was a amusing day, I found ordering around those extra agents to do the grunt work kinda entertaining. I don’t think any of them actually expected to have to WORK on a Saturday.

OOC: I’m about to fall asleep at the computer

I gotta call it a night, maybe tomorrow I can stay up later.
